Study abroad for one or more years as a guest student at SSB – have the convenience of continuing in your Swedish study plan and the benefit of living abroad at our boarding school. For Swedish guest students we need a study plan that we have to confirm. We also need a confirmation letter from the home municipality (kommun), stating that they will transfer the ”skolpeng” to us. During the summer the guest students will receive all necessary information regarding the boarding school. Some documents have to be signed and returned to SSB.

Swedish day students

Swedish day students are students who come to Belgium together with their family. Please note that the Swedish compulsory school at campus Argenteuil will from school year 2019-2020 be run by the European School of Bruxelles-Argenteuil.

Information about state benefits for Swedish upper secondary day students (in Swedish):

För att ingå i elevunderlaget för statsbidrag och därmed vara berättigad en något lägre skolavgift, ska varje elev först godkännas som behörig av Skolverket. Ansökan om behörighet består av Skolverkets ansökningsblankett samt lämplig bilaga, beroende på skäl till behov av utlandsundervisning.

Ansökan med lämplig bilaga skall fyllas i och skickas till skolan i samband med ansökan.

Koulumme on yksityinen koulu, joka tarjoaa lähialueen suomalaislapsille mahdollisuuden seurata suomalaisen opetussuunnitelman mukaista perusopetusta. Koulua ylläpitää Brysselin suomalaisen koulun kannatus-yhdistys ry. Koulumme sijaitsee Waterloossa, Brysselin läheisyydessä, vihreässä ja puistomaisessa ympäristössä, minne pääsee kulkemaan kätevästi koulukyydillä.

Hae oppilaaksi Brysselin suomalaiseen kouluun EEBA:ssa

Brysselin suomalaiseen kouluun voi lukuvuodesta 2019-2020 lähtien hakea yhteistyökumppanimme Bryssel-Argenteuil’n Eurooppakoulun kautta. Löydätte enemmän tietoa ja hakemuslomakkeen heidän kotisivuiltaan täältä.

Huomaattehan, että suomalaiset hakijat tarvitsevat hakemukseensa ajantasaisen väestörekisteriotteen, josta käy ilmi, että asuminen Belgiassa on väliaikaista (vakituinen osoite Suomessa).

School fees

Parents to the students at SSB are mostly employed by companies and organisations who cover the whole or a part of the school fees.

The enclosed fee structures are adapted to those families. The subsidised fees are for students for which state subsidies from Sweden or Finland are received.
