| Native language is of vital importance to the personal and cultural identity as well as the intellectual and emotional development of every student. Therefore, we are proud to present “additional home language courses” for students who are studying at a school other than SSB. Adults are also welcome! |
Danish |
| SSB is offering home language courses for students ages 6-16. The students will practice their mother tongue language according to the national curriculum in Denmark.
The courses will be for 2 x 60 minute lessons with a break. The schedule is flexible and will depend on the needs of the participants.

Finnish |
| For the 3rd year in a row, SSB will host the Finnish Home Lanaguage School of Brussels - Suomi-koulu. This is a school of more than 40 families offering classes for students of all ages from beginner to advanced. There are also classes for adults.

At SSB you will find the Icelandic School in Brussels and they are offering a programme for children aged 3-14.The aim of the school is to keep up language, traditions and for the children to get the chance to meet up and get to know one another.
The school meets on Sundays. |

Norwegian |

SSB will host Norwegian home language classes via Borealis Language Center here at SSB. Students ages 6-16 can receive training in Norwegian as a mother tongue language according to the national curriculum in Norway. There is also a “play group” starting for children ages 4-6 years. Classes for adults are also available.
