The Compulsory School creates the ideal conditions for the student’s learning and personal development. Every student in our compulsory school must feel that going to school is both stimulating and important. Every student should leave the school each day with a keen interest for more learning. Our way of working includes aesthetic and ethical elements that motivate the students to develop their ability to think and to reflect creatively.
Supportive atmosphere
Small teaching groups in our Compulsory School provide a supportive atmosphere. Focus and high expectations, for the students and teachers, facilitate the goal that everyone must realize their full potential.
Mother tongue language
Mastery in your mother tongue language aids every development of the student’s thinking, creativity and social relations in our Compulsory School. Through language, our students conquer new concepts, learn to see connections, think logically, critically analyze, make arguments and evaluate statements and results. Good reading habits are a vital part of learning, as well as the ability to express oneself through oral and written work.
French naturally has a prominent place at our school, as it is one of the official languages of our host country. English holds a dominant position in the international community and is thus often used as our common working language.
